Shopping For Savoie? Here's Your Secret Trick!
Alrighty, folks, last week we told you why Savoie is one of the best super-simple, easy-peasy, reliably good regions to look for. Missed it? Go here to catch up.
And this week, speaking of easy peasy, I’m going to tell you the SECRET TRICK to finding a wine from Savoie.
For realzies, you won’t even hardly need your brain. (I mean, you’re already overusing your brain when it comes to everything else in life, right? Might as well give it a night off when you can.)
So here’s the trick:
Look for the Savoie/Swiss flag!!
The region of Savoie shares a border with Switzerland, so they share that cute little red-with-a-white-cross flag. Every bottle of wine from Savoie will have that flag on it—either printed on the label or embossed on the bottle. Or both! ⬇️
So that’s all you gotta do! Look for the Savoie flag. You might find Savoie wines in many different price points, but any of those in the ~$15 are your budget friendly, weeknight drinkers. And we all need those in our lives, amirite?!
